Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CleanMyAss service ("Service") operated by CleanMyAss.ai ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

CleanMyAss is a digital hygiene tool that helps users audit and remove their own content (direct messages, comments, likes, and follows) from their own Instagram account, subject to Instagram's own rate limits and terms of service.

The Service only acts on content that belongs to the authenticated user. We do not access, store, or modify content belonging to third parties beyond what is visible through the user's own account.

2. Account and authentication

• You must authenticate your Instagram account using your own credentials. You are responsible for keeping those credentials secure.
• We store an encrypted Instagram session token on our servers to operate on your behalf. The raw password is never stored.
• You may disconnect your Instagram account at any time, which invalidates the session on our side and stops all jobs.

3. Billing, trials, and refunds

• Subscriptions are processed by Stripe (Stripe Brasil Pagamentos Ltda. for BRL billing; Stripe, Inc. for USD billing) and renew monthly unless cancelled.
• We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the initial charge. To request a refund, email support@cleanmyass.ai. Refunds for subsequent renewals are at our discretion.
• You may cancel at any time via Settings → Billing; the subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and then terminates.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Delete or alter content that is not yours.
• Circumvent Instagram's own rate limits, safety systems, or ToS.
• Conceal, manipulate, or destroy content that is subject to a legal hold, litigation, regulatory obligation, or journalistic public-interest requirement.
• Harass, dox, or harm third parties.

5. Relationship with Instagram / Meta

CleanMyAss is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram. Use of the Service is subject to Instagram's own Terms of Use.

6. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that every deletion request succeeds: Instagram may return errors, rate-limit your session, or require additional verification at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to abuse the platform, or trigger chargebacks without a legitimate refund request. Upon termination your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

For BRL-billed customers, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, with venue in São Paulo/SP. For USD-billed customers, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
